The Aussalier is a hybrid of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Australian Shepherd. The toy or miniature Australian Shepherd is often used in this pairing to maintain a smaller and more compact dog. Depending which physical traits a puppy inherits, an Aussalier’s appearance can vary even amongst littermates. This combination makes for an affectionate, happy, and playful companion.
